Digital Marketing Manager (Construction Tech)

SymTerra is a fast-growing UK construction technology company and we’re now looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to own and drive our marketing engine.
This is a hands-on role. You’ll be our first dedicated marketing hire, shaping how SymTerra shows up in the world and directly contributing to pipeline and growth.
The role
You’ll be responsible for making SymTerra visible, credible, and compelling across paid, organic, and social channels to maximise lead generation.
Key responsibilities include:
Owning and optimising paid ads (Google, LinkedIn, Meta and implementing, refining, reporting and scaling what works)
Driving performance marketing to maximise lead gen
Developing and executing our social media strategy (especially LinkedIn)
Creating and shaping content that reflects our voice i.e. practical, human, no fluff
Experimenting with and embedding GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) into our content and campaigns
Acting as the connective thread between product, sales, and brand
You won’t be managing an agency... you’ll be doing the work. We have a strategy. We need help implementing, refining and growing. This in turn will then shape the strategy.
What we're looking for
Must-haves:
Strong, hands-on experience with paid ads (you’ve actually run, implemented and optimised campaigns) to generate good leads
Comfortable being a one-person marketing team
Someone who understands our brand, mission and has ideas on how to grow it.
A real interest in GEO / AI-driven search and discovery
Passion for social media
Commercial mindset: you care about what converts, not just what looks nice
Creativity and a hustle attitude
Based in London / willing to travel to London
Nice-to-haves:
Experience in B2B SaaS or construction / infrastructure. Please note that this isn'a must for a reason as much of the marketing in this space is pretty dry / boring. We want to be different and have worked hard as a team to create a different identity in the space.
Confidence writing copy that speaks to real users, not buzzwords
Experience working with sales teams
Ideally you like data so can help with refine and improve performance

If not then this probably isn’t the role for you. We deeply care about the SymTerra tone of voice and not being another boring construction tech company with the same marketing materials as everyone else.
