Sales Development Representative (SDR) -Construction Tech

SymTerra is a fast-growing UK construction technology company and we’re now looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us scale.
This is a great role for someone who’s hungry, curious, and not afraid to pick up the phone, ideally with some exposure to construction, fit-out or infrastructure environments.
The role
As an SDR at SymTerra, you’ll be at the sharp end of our growth:
Owning outbound and inbound lead qualification
Working with founders to achieve sales targets
Reaching out to contractors, subcontractors and project teams
Booking high-quality demos for our senior sales team
Following up trials and early-stage users
Helping us understand what’s really happening on the ground with customers
Feeding insights back into marketing and product
This is not a spray-and-pray sales role. You’ll be having real conversations with people delivering real projects.
What we're looking for
Must-haves:
Experience in B2B sales, SDR, recruitment or customer-facing roles
Willingness to take ownership and hustle. What we mean by this is that you have a genuine can-do attitude meaning you are proactive, organised, and resilient
Background in construction, fit-out or infrastructure
Comfortable speaking to senior people and site teams alike
Strong communication skills (phone, email, LinkedIn)
Nice-to-haves:
Construction sales experience
Familiarity with site life, project delivery, or compliance processes
